My journey started when I embraced my natural curls. As someone with Ghanaian heritage, finding the right balance for my hair was already a challenge. I was investing heavily in leave-in treatments and oils, yet waking up with frizzy, dehydrated hair. I even tried a satin bonnet, unaware that synthetic satin simply couldn't deliver what real silk could.
The true culprit wasn't my products; it was my cotton bedding acting like a sponge, stripping moisture from both my hair and my changing, thirty-something skin. Discovering real silk was a game-changer, but the price tags and the designs available didn't fit my life. Silk shouldn't be an unattainable luxury, nor should it clash with your bedroom aesthetic.

Our core silk product categories are covered by OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification through our manufacturing partner, including pillowcases, bonnets, eye masks and scrunchies.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is an internationally recognised textile safety standard. Certified products are independently tested against requirements for harmful substances, providing added reassurance for products that come into direct contact with your skin and hair.
thoughtful packaging
We minimise single-use plastic in our packaging and prioritise recyclable and biodegradable materials wherever possible.
specialist silk manufacturing
Our products are manufactured in the Suzhou/Wujiang region of China, an established centre of silk production with specialist expertise in mulberry silk textiles.
We chose to work with an experienced silk manufacturer in this region because Australia does not currently have the same established commercial silk manufacturing ecosystem.
Our manufacturing partner holds current OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification and a GOTS Version 7.0 scope certificate across relevant textile categories. The facility has also undergone independent SMETA auditing covering labour standards, health and safety and environmental practices.
